The Green Tea: Abigaïl, Auxvoir Style Collective
"The Green Tea", is our series of Instagram Live chats about conscious consumption, creative expression, and the climate crisis. Every Saturday and Sunday at noon CDT for the rest of April (Earth Month), We're chatting with small business owners, educators, and researchers who share a passion for our planet.
Abigaïl Theano-Pudwill is a Haitian-born Canadian who loves to use the arts as an avenue to connect with others. Her favourite method of communication is through style.
For Abigaïl, assembling an outfit, and being open to the different facets she can present of herself is an essential part of self-discovery. Everyone gets dressed. She hopes to help make that everyday activity validating and fun while helping you share an authentic reflection.
Her go-to styling tip is to mix vintage with modern pieces to add a unique but sustainable flair to any outfit.
In addition to her pursuit of fashion, she has done advocacy work on a local, national and global scale, representing Canada in international spaces as Canada’s Commonwealth National Youth Delegate and various other titles. Since 2014, Abigaïl has focused on promoting youth engagement in governance through the National Student Commonwealth Forum and Youth Parliament of Manitoba (YPM). Abigaïl’s involvement on the board of directors of YPM ended this year as the first black Premier/Chairperson for thé 99th session. In 2020, she relaunched Auxvoir, a sustainable styling company to help others obtain a closet that serves them well and is sustainably focused. Find out more on @Auxvoir.
